Anacortes Folks Can Take a Trip to the San Juan Islands

Taking a jaunt to the San Juan Islands and traveling aboard the Anacortes Ferry is a great way to spend the day.  When planning your trip, you should make a vehicle reservation. This can be done from the Washington State Ferry website and is free. The actual fare depends on the size of your vehicle. Walk-ons and passengers do not require a reservation. Here are the locations the ferry goes to:

• Shaw Island
• Orcas Island
• Friday Harbor
• Lopez Island
• Sidney, BC, Canada

If you want to walk on and take a trip, there are taxi and limousine services waiting on the other side. You can also rent mopeds, cars, or bikes.  You can contact the San Juan Islands Visitors Bureau for more information at (888) 468-3701 ext 1 for more information.
